Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Lisa Grosso, CEO & Wedding Designer at Mountain Bride to get her insight into the benefits of hiring a wedding planner. Lisa has provided wedding planning, design and coordination services for many of our past clients as well as we have worked together on inspiration photo shoots for various wedding magazines. Imagine yourself getting married at a dreamy mansion and barn venue perfectly situated on 320 acres of private property. Cherry Creek Estate is nestled between two of the most magnificent mountain ranges in North America, surrounded by epic backdrops for your wedding ceremony and photos.
At Cherry Creek Estate we offer exclusive access to our property for the duration of your wedding weekend. You and your guests arrive to the Estate and relax knowing our staff has everything taken care of. Enjoy gourmet farm to fork style catering, private bar service and plenty of space to relax and take in the surrounding views. We can accommodate up to 45 guests overnight and up to 300 for your wedding reception.
Your wedding weekend itinerary:
10:00am Arrive: Drive through the grand gates to the Estate and take the whole day to set up your decorations, centerpieces and however else you'd like to customize your barn wedding reception. The tables, chairs, linens and dishes are set up in advance by the staff so you just need to add in your unique style!
4:00pm Ceremony Rehearsal: You are welcome to do a walk through of your wedding ceremony any time during the day on Friday. Our staff will be onsite the whole time to assist and answer any questions you may have.
6:00pm Rehearsal Dinner: Enjoy a rehearsal dinner on our back deck with your closest family and friends overlooking the Rocky Mountains. Our rehearsal dinner menu boasts BBQ style fare inspired by local flavours and market offerings.
8:00pm Relax Mode: Settle in our mansion rooms, enjoy a dip in the pool, a round of pool in our Billiards Room or hit the hay early for some beauty rest. There is room for 10 guests in the mansion and 35 in the Buggy Barn so you can have your whole wedding party and family stay close by for the whole weekend.
Saturday: Your Wedding Day
Wake up and lounge in the mansion while you have hair & makeup services come to you. There is ample space in Eagle Eye's, our Master Suite for the bridal party to get ready for the big day.
11:00am Skeet Shooting Tour: Send the groomsmen off on a Skeet Shooting Tour while the ladies primp. Surprise your groom with a professionally guided skeet shooting excursion. We take care of all the supplies and transportation for the group so all you have to worry about is getting your guy to the lobby at the right time!
3:00pm Wedding Ceremony: Say 'I do' overlooking to Rocky Mountains. We take care of the set up of all the chairs and the archway and you can add your personal decorations to customize the space. We can also offer assistance finding a local officiant to make it official for you and your hubby.
4:00pm Cocktail Hour: After your 'I do's', welcome your guests inside Creekside Villa to enjoy a cocktail hour inside on the mansion's back deck. Passed appetizers and bar services are available as well as cool air conditioning for the hottest days of summer!
6:00pm Wedding Dinner: Enjoy a gourmet farm to fork inspired dinner created by Chef David Miles and his team. Working with local suppliers as much as possible, we create a perfect culinary experience every single time. Your guests will not be able to stop raving about your wedding dinner! Add on our signature dessert options and a midnight snack to top it all of!
8:00pm Dancing & Party: The Rocky Mountain Barn is equipped with a full size dance floor, stage and plenty of room to party. Dance your heart out until 1:00am when the shuttle arrives to whisk your offsite guests back to their hotel.
11:00am Brunch: Wake up and enjoy a departure brunch before heading out on the road. Brunch might just be Chef Davids favourite meal to create! Everything is made from scratch, from the hollandaise to the pastries to the crepes. Your tastebuds will not be disappointed and neither will your guests. A perfect send off for the perfect wedding weekend!
12:00pm Checkout & Departure: Reflect on your perfect wedding weekend and marrying the love of your life!

2016 - that's a wrap! It was our busiest season yet, filled with some of the most dreamy weddings we have ever seen out here! Each wedding had it's own unique feel and atmosphere which made each weekend equally as exciting for us. Thank you to all the amazing couples we had the pleasure of dealing with, and for choosing Cherry Creek Estate as your wedding destination. And of course, a huge thank you to all the photographers that made the trek out to the Estate to capture some of the most beautiful & stunning wedding photos of wonderful celebrations.
